from May 2017……

I know one of the top pediatric radiologists in America.

[American College Of Radiology]—–“One of the highest honors the ACR can bestow on a member is recognition as a fellow…..”
Next weekend my high school track teammate and fellow resident of Austin Texas….Debbie [Kern] Pennington, a grad of Fort Hunt high school, Alexandria Virginia, class of 1980….will travel to Washington D.C. to officially be named a Fellow at the annual meeting of the American College Of Radiology.
.
Only about 10% of American College Of Radiology members achieve the distinction during their careers at the top of the profession.
.
Debbie has been a medical doctor for nearly 30 years [pediatric radiology]. She is the Chief Of Radiology at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin Texas, originally built with help from a grant from Austin billionaire Michael Dell of Dell computers.
She graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Residency at Vanderbilt and Georgetown University medical centers.
Fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center.
.
In high school Debbie was a sprinter, jumper, and hurdler.
In Austin Texas she is a mega-doctor and an assistant professor teaching medical students and nurse practitioners.
